Journeyed Designs was founded by a military spouse, veteran, and artisan, inspired by the deep and transformative experiences of military life. Each piece is a narrative in itself, grounded in the symbolism of the dandelion—a humble yet powerful flower that represents resilience, growth, and the capacity to adapt in the face of change. Much like the dandelion’s seeds that travel across vast distances, these creations mirror the military journey—one of strength, constant transformation, and the pursuit of new horizons, no matter where life leads.

Shortly after completing her 21-year military career, Kerryn discovered the art of origami on a cool rainy day spent amongst her new group of fellow military spouse friends while connecting over conversation, creativity, and coffee. The intricate folds and delicate designs captured her imagination, and soon, origami became more than just a hobby.
